Amir meets President of Ukraine

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met today with HE President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy, on the sidelines of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26) at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, Scotland. The meeting dealt with reviewing bilateral relations and means of enhancing, in addition to discussing the regional and international developments. In this context, HE President of Ukraine expressed his thanks to HH the Amir for the effective contribution of the State of Qatar to the evacuation of civilians, and its unremitting efforts in the peace process in Afghanistan. The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir. On the Ukrainian side, it was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers.
