Amir meets Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani meets with the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq bin Ali Al Ghanim and the accompanying delegation

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Wednesday morning at the Amiri Diwan office with the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq bin Ali Al Ghanim and the accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to the country. At the outset of the meeting, Al Ghanim conveyed the greetings of the Amir of the sisterly State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to His Highness the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness, and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity. For his part, His Highness the Amir entrusted Marzouq bin Ali Al Ghanim to convey his greetings to the Amir of Kuwait, wishing him good health and wellness and the brotherly Kuwaiti people further progress and prosperity. Al Ghanim expressed his congratulations to His Highness the Amir and the government and people of the State of Qatar on the success of the first legislative elections of the Shura Council and the opening of the first ordinary session of the first legislative term corresponding to the Shura Council's 50th annual session, wishing the members of the Council success. During the meeting, the strong brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to support and enhance them were reviewed. The meeting was attended by HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim.
