Amir holds talks with Namibian President

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the President of the Republic of Namibia Hage Geingob hold official talks at the Amiri Diwan
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the President of the Republic of Namibia Hage Geingob held an official talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Monday morning. During the session, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and aspects of developing them in various fields, especially in the field of investment and energy, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common concern. The session was attended by HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, HE the Chief of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and HE the Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi. On the Namibian side, it was attended by the Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs Frans Kapofi and the Minister of Mines and Energy Tom Alweendo. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of President Geingob and the accompanying delegation at the Amiri Diwan. The banquet was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers. Earlier in the day an official reception ceremony was accorded for the President of Namibia upon his arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
