His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the Prime Minister of Malaysia Ismail Sabri Yaakob held an official talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday morning. During the session, they discussed aspects of developing joint cooperation, especially in the fields of economy and investment, in addition to exchanging views on the most prominent regional and international issues. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, HE the Chief of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, HE the Minister of Municipality Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, and HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi attended the session. On the Malaysian side, it was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Saifuddin Abdullah, the Minister of International Trade and Industry Mohamed Azmin Ali, the Minister of Rural Development Mahdzir bin Khalid, and the Deputy Minister of Works Arthur Joseph Kurup. On this occasion, His Highness the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the accompanying delegation. Prime Minister Yaakob had arrived earlier at the Amiri Diwan, where he was accorded an official reception ceremony.
