QNADohaHis Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment (SCEAI), on Tuesday chaired the Council’s second meeting of 2022 at the Amiri Diwan.HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Chairman of the Council, attended the meeting along with Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Executive Member of the Council, and members of the Council.The Council reviewed the decisions and recommendations made in the first meeting, and the project follow-up report. The Council also discussed the country’s economic priorities and took appropriate decisions in their regard.Also, the Council was briefed on agriculture, livestock and fish production and the telecommunications and information technology sector, in addition to the presentation on the approvals of licensing requirements and commercial practices, the developments of the Qatar Financial Centre, and also the developments of QatarEnergy and Qatar Investment Authority. The Council discussed the topics listed on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions in their regard.
