His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived Tuesday in Astana on a state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan. His Highness the Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Astana International Airport by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
His Highness the Amir and the accompanying delegation were also welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mukhtar Tileuberdi, the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for International Cooperation Erzhan Kazykhan, the Mayor of Astana Altai Kolginov, HE the ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Kazakhstan Abdulaziz bin Sultan Al Rumaihi, the ambassador of Kazakhstan to Qatar Arman Issagaliyev, and members of the diplomatic corps at the Qatari embassy.
