Ambassador Al Emadi announces agreement on Qatari grant, opening of Gaza crossings

Gaza: Chairman of Qatar's Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza HE Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi announced on Monday that an agreement has been reached regarding the Qatari grant and the opening of the Gaza crossings in order to establish a state of calm and stability in the Strip.

HE Ambassador Al Emadi confirmed that during the past few days, meetings were held with all parties with the agreement to completely reopen the crossings to meet the main needs of the sector, while providing various facilities that would help all parties to get out of the crisis situation and ease the tension in the region. His Excellency stressed that the meetings achieved positive results that will be built upon in the files and issues related to improving the living conditions of the residents of the Gaza Strip, in full coordination with the United Nations and the Palestinian Authority and in agreement with all parties. He also stressed that these results will have a clear positive impact on improving the living conditions in the Gaza Strip.
