
Amazon to cut 14,000 corporate jobs globally; ‘in India, a few thousand roles’

Amazon, the Seattle-based e-tailer that employs more than 1.5 million people globally, on Tuesday (October 28) said it would reduce it corporate workforce by about 14,000 as part of its ongoing exercise aimed at making the company leaner, less bureaucratic and AI-driven.
