For his part, Faisal Al Hammadi, head of the youth team at Al Rayyan Club, stressed the importance of the workshop in educating young people about the harms of drugs and the extent of the negative effects resulting from this dangerous habit.

He said: “Young people must make good use of their free time and benefit from what benefits them by participating in useful summer activities, whether cultural, sporting or other,” warning against bad friends who play a major role in trapping their children and push them to deviate towards drugs, noting that the club’s youth body is keen to hold meaningful lectures and attract the largest number of participants to attend these lectures and address topics of interest to young people.
