After Centre, Rajasthan raises dearness allowance for state govt employees to 28%

The Rajasthan government has approved an increase in the dearness allowance of state government employees and pensioners to 28 per cent. This comes after the Centre also announced a hike in DA for central government employees and pensioners.

Following the footsteps of the central government, the Ashok Gehlotled Rajasthan government on Wednesday approved an increase in dearness allowance (DA) of state government employees and pensioners from 17 per cent to 28 per cent. As per the state government's decision, the increased rate of DA shall be applicable from July 1, 2021.
