AFG College prepares to welcome new and returning students to campus

With the start of the new academic year less than three weeks away, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen have spent the summer preparing for students to return to campus under the government’s current Covid-19 directives.This semester a new undergraduate programme will complement the existing four programmes already well established at the campus.The new programme, approved by HE Dr Mohammed Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Higher Education, will launch this month and represents AFG’s fifth undergraduate degree offered since the College opened in 2017. Continuing with the college’s thoughtful expansion through the provision of much needed multi-disciplinary offerings, the new MA (Hons) Business Management & Legal Studies, offers students a grounding in business, management and organisations within the context of the legal framework on which all businesses operate. The new degree will equip successful students with the analytical and academic skills required for a head-start in international business and provides a meaningful pathway to a multitude of career options.  AFG College’s specialist industry linkage group work closely with prospective employers ensuring future graduate opportunities are identified where possible.Dr Fiona Robson, AFG College Head of Discipline for Business and Management noted“We are excited to be launching this new programme in September where students will benefit from developing their expertise in both business management and legal studies, preparing them for a diverse range of careers.
