Adam Edstrom injury sees Conor Sheary slot back into Rangers lineup over top prospect
NY Post
After leaving practice early on Monday to be evaluated for a lower-body injury, Adam Edstrom did not suit up Tuesday night against the Stars.
The Rangers, who captured a 3-2 win in overtime, have classified Edstrom as day-to-day.
As a result, Conor Sheary drew back into the lineup for the first time since Nov. 24.
After serving as a healthy scratch in the previous three games, Sheary slotted onto the left wing of the fourth line next to Sam Carrick and Taylor Raddysh.
Raddysh was able to play despite missing practice on Monday due to personal reasons.
Brennan Othmann was recalled from AHL Hartford on Monday to ensure the Rangers had an extra forward.
