4 COVID-19 outbreaks in Waterloo region, 2 in schools

There were 41 new cases of COVID-19 reported Monday afternoon by Region of Waterloo Public Health, which includes weekend numbers.
The region advised during a media briefing on Friday that it would only be updating the COVID-19 dashboard Monday to Friday going forward.

There were seven people in the region's three hospitals infectious with COVID-19 as of Monday afternoon. There were also 115 active cases of the virus in the region.

The region's vaccination dashboard showed 90.28 per cent of eligible people in the community, aged 12 and older, have received one dose of the COVID-10 vaccine while 86.28 per cent have both doses.
