329 referred to prosecution for Covid-19 violations

The competent authorities referred 329 people to the relevant Prosecution for violating the Covid-19 preventive and precautionary measures in force in Qatar, the Ministry of Interior said Friday. Among them, 321 were referred to the prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory and eight for not installing the Ehteraz app. This is in line with the Cabinet decision based on Law No 17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases. The authorities have urged the public to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures in force to protect them and others from the spread of Covid-19.
