31-year-old man identified as victim of weekend homicide in east London, police say

London police have identified 31-year-old Devon Cherrey-Rooke of London, Ont., as the victim of a fatal stabbing in the city's east end on Sunday morning.
Police and paramedics were called to a parking lot near Dundas Street and Clarke Road at about 6:30 a.m. to assist an injured man. Cherrey-Rooke was transported to a local hospital, where he later died of his injuries, police said.
On Sunday, police and forensic vehicles blocked off part of a Home Depot parking lot where Cherrey-Rooke was found. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
No arrests have been made.
The Major Crimes Section is continuing to investigate.
