277 to face prosecution for violating Covid measures

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Tuesday that the designated authorities have referred 277 people to the prosecution for violating the preventive and precautionary measures enforced by the country to contain the spread of Covid-19. Among them, 271 people were referred to the prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory, 5 for not maintaining safe physical distancing and one for violating the rule on the number of passengers allowed in a vehicle.
