Gaza: Following the 600th day of the war of annihilation being waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the enclave, there are cataclysmic indicators that plague the health and humanitarian scene in the Gaza enclave, the Ministry of Health in Gaza warned.
In a report on Wednesday, the ministry added that 22 hospitals, out of a total of 38, have been knocked out of service, while 47% of essential medicines and 65% of medical consumables are entirely out of stock.
Only 30 out of 105 primary healthcare centers are currently operational, while bed occupancy has surged beyond 106%, the report highlighted, stressing that only 50 operating rooms remain functional under catastrophic conditions, out of a total of 104 rooms.
The report went on to say that there have been 60 mortalities among children due to malnutrition, and that 41% of renal failure patients have died during the war, indicating that 477 patients have died while awaiting medical evacuation for treatment abroad.
The report pointed out that 25 out of 34 oxygen generation stations in Gaza have been decimated, leaving only 9 stations partially operational.
