Two women were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries Saturday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in Yorkville.
The collision happened in the area of Avenue Road and Tranby Avenue just before 1:30 p.m., Toronto police said in a post to X.
Both women were taken to a local trauma centre with serious, life-threatening injuries, a police spokesperson said.
The driver remained at the scene. Police are still investigating what led up to the collision.
