2,204 new Covid cases, one death Wednesday in Qatar as total recoveries reach 297,167

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported Tuesday a total of 2,204 new Covid-19 cases, with 1,669 confirmed cases in the community and 535 among travellers. The MoPH also announced the death of a patient aged 81 who had a history of chronic diseases and was receiving necessary medical care. The Ministry also recorded 3,985 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 297,167.
