A 16-year-old boy is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in Montreal's Côte-Des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-De-Grâce borough Monday.
Montreal police say there was an altercation involving a group of teens near a sports centre on Van Horne Avenue, not far from Victoria Avenue at around 3 p.m.
The victim was stabbed in the upper body, police say.
A perimeter was established around the scene of the incident as police investigate.
Police say they are looking for suspects, possibly three of them, who fled on foot.

Environmental group Greenpeace is calling for more transparency on the part of Canada's largest pulp and paper company, saying it has received millions of dollars in government funding without providing the public with details of how that money is being used or sharing its plans for the future of Canada's forests.
