Yankees’ Clint Frazier goes on IL with vertigo
NY Post
Clint Frazier’s disappointing season has taken its latest twist, as the outfielder landed the injured list Friday.
The Yankees outfielder, who exited Wednesday’s game early with “complaints of dizziness,” went on the IL for what manager Aaron Boone described as vertigo. Boone said Frazier is still undergoing “a battery of tests” to discover exactly what his issue is. “It’s been pretty extensive so when we have all that information, full clarity, we’ll have a better answer for you,” Boone said before the Yankees hosted the Mets. “Doctors, hospitals, things like that. Just trying to, if we can uncover something or get to the bottom of anything. It’s a litany of tests he’s going through.”
SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
