Woman who hit cops with car during NYC protests arrested

A 26-year-old woman was busted Thursday for speeding through a line of cops in Brooklyn during a chaotic protest last year, cops said.
Samantha Botte was arrested and charged with assault, attempted assault, reckless endangerment, obstruction, unlawful fleeing and reckless driving, according to authorities. Botte, in her 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis with the license plate “ANUTHA1,” allegedly sped away from cops at Smith Street and Atlantic Avenue on Oct. 27, 2020 during demonstrations over the Philadelphia police shooting death of Walter Wallace Jr.More Related News
