Los Angeles police on Monday identified a 35-year-old woman as the alleged shooter who opened fire on Rihanna's Southern California home with an AR-15-style rifle.
Ivana Lisette Ortiz was booked into custody on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the Sunday afternoon incident at the property just outside Beverly Hills, police said.
The 9-time Grammy winner was at home when the suspect opened fire, but she was not hurt by any of the four rounds that hit the singer’s property, police said. A$AP Rocky and their children were also inside the Beverly Crest home, just north of Beverly Hills, at the time, police told NBC Los Angeles.
Ortiz’s bail was listed in jail records at $10.225 million. Details of the arrest and investigation are not immediately clear.
The gunshots rang out at about 1:15 p.m. PDT at the home she shares with hip-hop star A$AP Rocky just outside Beverly Hills, Los Angeles police said.
