Witness alerted Atlanta grocery store manager to armed man: Police
Fox News
An Instacart worker inside an Atlanta grocery store alerted staff about a man he spotted with a rifle, possibly averting what could have been another tragedy days after a mass shooting at a Colorado store that left 10 people dead.
An officer said security was called and the store appeared to be evacuated by the time he arrived. The officer said he entered the restroom and detained the suspect, identified as Rico Marley, without incident. During a search of Marley and his bag, the officer discovered four handguns, a rifle and a shotgun – all loaded, the report said. Marley was wearing body armor, authorities said. Investigators were trying to determine what he was planning to do with the weapons.More Related News
