Wisconsin man sets garage on fire by siphoning gas with a vacuum
Fox News
The Janesville, Wisconsin, Fire Department helped to put out a house fire on Sunday. The cause of the fire was siphoning gas from a vehicle with a vacuum.
A similar event happened two days prior in Salt Lake City and the fire marshal for Albany released a statement warning against this practice when a similar accident happened in his jurisdiction.
"There's equipment that's sold, like at Advanced Auto places, that will do the siphoning for you. That was a kind of old school shade tree way that's not recommended anymore today," said Albany Asst. Fire Chief Rubin Jordan.
