Veteran Rep. Ron Kind — a Wisconsin Democrat who represents a district carried by former Donald Trump — is planning to retire, Democratic sources confirmed to CNN.
Kind has represented the seat since 1997. An official announcement is expected soon, sources said. His office did not respond to a request for comment.
