CBC
Treacherous road conditions from a winter storm that hit southwestern Manitoba on Tuesday has prompted several school-related cancellations for Wednesday.
All schools are closed in the following school divisions:
Schools are open but buses are not running in the Beautiful Plains School Division and Rolling River School Division. Rolling River's colony schools are closed but community schools are open.
In the Brandon School Division, buses are not running outside the city but are operating within it. As for those schools outside of Brandon, Alexander and O’Kelly schools are open but Spring Valley School is closed.
The division says attendance at school is at parental discretion where travel is required.
