Will win 58 seats if elections happen today, says AAP Gujarat in-charge

Sandeep Pathak, AAP Gujarat state in-charge, spoke exclusively with India Today after his induction on Monday.
Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat state in-charge, Dr. Sandeep Pathak, on Monday said that according to the internal scientific survey conducted by the party, if elections in the state happen today itself, AAP will win 58 seats.
Speaking exclusively to India Today, Pathak, after being inducted as AAP’s Gujarat in-charge on Monday said, “There was an intelligence agency report done by the government which said that AAP would get around 55 seats. However, we have our own team. We do surveys very scientifically. Our internal scientific survey says we will get 58 seats."
After a majestic win in the Punjab state assembly election, AAP has set its eyes on its next goal- Gujarat. It has emerged as a strong contender to BJP for the upcoming Gujarat state assembly election, which is slated to be held in December this year.

Pathak told India Today, “People of Gujarat themselves need change. Congress cannot defeat the BJP. The whole of Gujarat knows this. The only option is AAP. People of Gujarat will bring the change. We don't want to defeat any party. We want the people of Gujarat to win. People need better education, health, infrastructure and employment."
"In villages where Congress had dominance, now things have changed. Our focus will be the villages of Gujarat. Economically weaker sections of citu don't believe in the BJP anymore. AAP will have a very good future in Gujarat,” Pathak added.
On the challenges that AAP will have to face in the state, Pathak told India Today that there were a lot of challenges in Gujarat but more important is that people of Gujarat need change.
