Will move Supreme Court if Kerala doesn't take back Bakrid relaxations: IMA

After Kerala announced a slew of relaxations for three days due to Bakrid, the IMA warned that it will move the Supreme Court if the state does not take back its decision.

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Sunday asked the Kerala government not to make way for mass gatherings in the state on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha or Bakrid amidst the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic. Reacting to the development, the IMA asked Kerala not to ease the Covid-19 restrictions for religious gatherings, especially when it is one of the few Indian states which is still witnessing a high number of new cases.
