Vaccination rates in America vary widely between blue and red states, between urban and rural populations and between those with college degrees and those without.
But perhaps no demographic factor shows as stark of a difference as age. Nearly 92% of adults over 65 have had at least one vaccine dose and over 81% are fully vaccinated, higher than any other age group, according to data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
