"Where Was The Threat?" Punjab Chief Minister On PM Security Lapse

PM PM security lapse, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said attempts are being made to defame Punjab and destabilise the state.

There were no threats to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on the recently security lapse in the state, during an interview to NDTV.

"This is a conspiracy to defame Punjab," he said.

"The maximum number of people in the freedom struggle have been from Punjab. It it, therefore, wrong to accuse Punjab and Punjabis of such acts," said the chief minister.
