The first doses of Russia's Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine were administered in India on Friday in a soft launch that is expected to be scaled up in the coming days. The vaccine will cost Rs 995.40 including tax for a shot, the company said, as well as announcing a single-dose variant Sputnik Light that could be approved in the next few weeks.
