What the Jets still need to answer as they look ahead to training camp
NY Post
The Jets began their summer break with the conclusion of minicamp last week. They won’t be all back together in Florham Park until July 22, when they report for training camp.
There won’t be much action between now and then, outside of a few possible signings. So it feels like a good time to take stock of what we saw this spring in OTAs and minicamp and what we’ll be looking for in training camp.
Here are five questions we have after the spring program and entering camp:
1. Can Justin Fields figure it out?

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
