Weather forecast today: Heavy rainfall in Delhi; IMD issues red alert for Mumbai, Konkan region

Weather Updates: Delhi and other cities experienced heavy rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert for Mumbai and other regions.

The monsoon has finally arrived in several parts of the country. It rained heavily in Delhi-NCR on Monday, making the situation difficult for the citizens. Not only Delhi but Gurugram was also seen submerged in the rainwater. The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius. Along with Delhi, moderate rainfall is expected in several parts of India, including UP, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and parts of Maharashtra in the next 24 hours. In Mumbai, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert due to extremely heavy rainfall. As per media reports, Mumbai has received 920.1 mm of rain.
