Watch: Two years, 65,000 deaths: The data story of Gaza’s war
The Hindu
Two years into the conflict, Gaza faces a humanitarian crisis of unprecedented scale. Nearly 2 million people are struggling with severe food insecurity, and almost one in three children suffer from malnutrition. Healthcare and education systems have been devastated. Clinics that once served thousands daily now struggle to provide critical care, while 660,000 children have missed formal schooling for three consecutive years. Today, 82% of Gaza lies under displacement orders or militarised zones, with over 1.1 million people uprooted since the March 2025 ceasefire collapsed.
