Olympic men's 4x100-metre gold medallists Andre De Grasse, Aaron Brown, Brendon Rodney, and Jerome Blake accomplished their goal of qualifying for the World Athletics Championships, and will now race for a medal in Sunday's final.
Canada also qualified the women's 4x100m and 4x400m teams.
The mixed 4x400m will get a second chance at qualifying for worlds in repechage heats.
The mixed 4x100m is making its global debut at this event, and Canada advanced to Sunday's final with the best time in the heats.
The top 14 teams in each category in Guangzhou will qualify a spot at the world championships, which will be held in Tokyo in September.

The top two finishers in each of the four opening-round heats on Saturday get into the worlds and advance to the final on Sunday where they'll race for the $40,000 US top prize.
The other teams go to a second-chance qualifying round on Sunday, where the top two in each of the three heats receive a spot in the worlds.
