
Washington state Dems want to force Americans to vote in elections

A bill proposed by Democrats in Washington state to establish "Universal Civic Duty Voting" would force residents to vote in primary and general elections.

A person is not required to provide a reason for requesting a waiver to vote, and voters are not required to select any candidates for any office, but they must return the ballot to be in compliance with the law, according to the Senate bill report.
