The voter registration process for the Shura Council elections in its first session, which lasted for five days, ended yesterday evening in all polling stations, and through text messages, and Metrash2 application.
A source in the Supervisory Committee concerned with the Shura Council elections told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the voter registration process ended yesterday evening, and the voters committee will begin preparing the preliminary lists of voters and announcing them at the electoral district headquarters next Sunday, followed by the stage of receiving objections and grievances during the period from August 8 to 12, followed by the announcement of the final lists of voters in the electoral headquarters on August 22. He explained that the citizen who applied for registration and did not find his name in the voters list has the right to file a grievance, just as the voter has the right to object to the registration of another voter, and to provide justifications for this objection.More Related News
