Vikings can give Daniel Jones what Giants couldn’t in Minnesota’s chance for New York payback
NY Post
We’ve taken so much from the fair sporting citizenry of Minnesota through the years. For two and a half decades, the Yankees have treated the Twins the way Henry Hill treated the poor sap who lived across the street from Karen, the one who made the grave mistake of trying to make a move on her.
(“I swear on my mother, you touch her again, you’re DEAD!”)
The Knicks … well, it’s early, so maybe it’s a little premature to declare a winner in the Karl-Anthony Towns for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo swap. But Donte got himself benched the other night, and so far looks about as happy as a Timberwolf as Jorge Lopez did as a Met. And if there’s been anything wrong with KAT’s game since he got here, nobody’s detected it yet.
We took Fran Tarkenton away from them (though we gave him back).

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
