'Vegan' label may be turning off consumers: Study finds more people will pick up foods called 'healthy'

Researchers at the University of Southern California found that people are less likely to pick up food labeled "vegan" as opposed to food called "healthy and sustainable."
There was a large pool of over 7,000 people as part of the study, from whom 10 were randomly selected. Brittany Kasko is a lifestyle production assistant with Fox News Digital.
These participants were then told to choose between a food gift basket without meat and dairy and another that included meat and dairy, according to the study published in the Journal of Environmental Psychology.
