
Uttarakhand Government extends COVID-19 curfew till September 14

The Pushkar Singh Dhami-led government took the step to contain the spread of coronavirus.
New Delhi: The Uttarakhand Government on Monday (September 6, 2021) extended the ongoing COVID-19 curfew in the state till September 14. The step was taken to contain the spread of coronavirus. Earlier on September 1, the Pushkar Singh Dhami-led government had announced the extension of the curfew till September 7. This is to be noted that for entry from other states, a certificate of two doses of COVID-19 vaccine has to be produced. In the absence of this certificate, entry will be allowed only on an RTPCR negative report of not more than 72 hours old. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Uttarakhand currently has 389 active coronavirus cases. The state has so far seen a total of 3,35,323 recoveries and 7,388 deaths.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday inaugurated the CM Shri School at Sarojini Nagar. The foundation stones for 75 CM Shri School projects across the Capital were also laid. This initiative of the Delhi Government has been launched in accordance with the National Education Policy to provide modern, technology-integrated and improved education.

India and France have inaugurated a final assembly line for Airbus H125 helicopters at Vemagal, Karnataka, in a joint venture between Tata Advanced Systems and Airbus. The Rs 1,000 crore programme is expected to boost defence manufacturing, generate employment, and produce ‘Made in India’ helicopters for domestic use and export from 2027.
