A Marshall Islands-flagged tanker fire that lasted for several hours following a Houthi missile strike was extinguished Saturday with the help of the USS Carney and a French warship.
The fire threatened to engulf the ship carrying liquid hydrogen, if not for the swift help from the Americans and French, the official said.
