Over 100 people, including 75 law enforcement personnel, are engaged in search operations for a nine-year-old girl, who went missing while camping with her family in upstate New York, officials said on Sunday. "Last evening, she went out on a bike ride. It wasn't dark, it's right around dinnertime and did a couple of loops with close friends she considers her cousins. And then she decided after going around, she said she's finally going around one more time by herself. Literally 15 minutes later, she hadn't come back yet," New York Governor Kathy Hochul said at a press conference.
She said that Charlotte's parents knew immediately "something was up" and started searching for her.
