She opted for a white bardot gown with the slogan “Tax the Rich”, splashed across the back in bold, red letters. The white dress by Brother Vellies created quite a stir with its political angle at the gala. James, the founder and creative director of Brother Vellis opened up about her design to Vogue and said, "We must always continue to push ourselves, push our colleagues, push the culture and push the country forward."
