
US pauses Johnson & Johnson rollout over clotting reports

Early Tuesday, US health officials recommended pausing the rollout of Johnson & Johnson's Covid-19 vaccine over concerns the shot may be linked to a very small increased risk of rare blood clots.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommended the pause over "six reported US cases of a rare and severe type of blood clot."
