A U.S. Marine bonded with a helpless puppy while on deployment in rural Africa. The nonprofit Paws of War is working to bring her to safety in America.
Johnson and his team rescued the puppy in an area where animal cruelty is abundant, according to the New York-based nonprofit Paws of War.
