The Election Commission on Monday announced that polling for Uttar Pradesh’s district panchayat president will be held from June 15 to July 3. The notification regarding the election was issued by the State Election Commission. State Election Commission Officer on special duty SK Singh said that the program for the election of district panchayat president will be released on Tuesday. He said that the elections should be completed by the date fixed by the government. Earlier, panchayat elections were held in 75 districts of UP in four phases. The polling were held on April 15, April 19, April 26, and April 29.
