UP: Muslims shower flowers on kanwariyas, chant 'Har Har Mahadev', 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' in Moradabad

Setting up a perfect example of brotherhood, the Muslim community in UP’s Moradabad showered flowers on the devotees and chanted 'Har Har Mahadev', 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.

As the Kanwar Yatra is progressing towards the last Monday, a large number of people are coming forward to welcome kanwariyas.

In UP’s Moradabad, arrangements were made for food for kanwariyas by the police. Huge pandals were set up outside the police station.

Setting up a perfect example of communal harmony, the Muslim community welcomed the kawariyas by showering flowers on them. They also chanted ‘har har Mahadev’, ‘Bharat mata ki jai’ and ‘vande mataram’.

The DM and SSP appreciated this initiative taken by the Muslim community and said that they have set an example of brotherhood. They described the act as Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb and praised the Hindu-Muslim unity in the area.

Maulana Salauddin Mansoori, who was present in the welcome the kawariyas, said that this is the brotherhood of Moradabad, it is ‘tehzeeb’.
