
UP assembly election: BSP moves to regain Brahmin support, but challenges ahead

In the battle for the crucial UP Assembly poll, the BSP is organising conferences to assure the Brahmin community that their interests will remain safe under its regime.
The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has kicked off its electoral campaign for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election with a Brahmin conference aimed at bringing the community into the fold. The Prabuddha Varg Samwad with the Brahmin community began in Ayodhya on Friday. Similar conferences are scheduled to be held in UP districts of the state till mid-October. Ahead of the Brahmin conference, BSP general secretary Satish Mishra visited Hanumangarhi and Ram Janmabhoomi, and asked, “Does the BJP have a copyright on Ram and Ayodhya? Will we have to go for darshan with permission from the BJP?”More Related News
