With the induction of three BJP leaders from Gujarat into the Union Cabinet, the Modi government will now have a total of seven ministers from the state.
With Gujarat Assembly elections less than a year away, the renewed Union Cabinet will have a total of seven ministers from the state. This includes Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is the Lok Sabha MP from Gandhinagar and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who represents Gujarat in the Rajya Sabha. Ministers of state (MoS) prior to the reshuffle, Mansukh Mandaviya and Purshottam Rupala are likely to either be retained as junior ministers or elevated as ministers.More Related News
